“Relatability” is the first thing that springs to mind. It’s in the way you narrate; even if the given scenario is outlandish and not something the audience would ever have been through, I’m always tempted to think “oh, I know that feel” when your characters think or feel something. It’s like I’m living it.

I’m stuck on hades in a handbasket rn and also kind of stuck IN my original story and I’ve been going back and forth between the two for like two weeks now. well, that and farting around in minecraft until I decide what to do. I’ve been pretty distanced from the Internet so I can figure it out, and hopefully I can get it together and move on to ask no questions and/or Lodestar after handbasket. (or the jailfic, crap I forgot about it until just now whoops)
