In his father’s stead, Thane has been tasked with protecting the valuable fortress of Iron Town, but between wolf gods, demon curses, Star Clan, and the Aranei Empress, every choice leads to bloodshed. Alongside Thane are three warriors: Maka, a cursed princess exiled from her home; Black Star, an assassin who must kill a god to earn his independence; and Mifune, a mercenary who must protect a young girl. Together, these four people are tasked with walking a path that few have ever dared, chosen by the gods to see with eyes unclouded. A Princess Mononoke AU.

Hello, I am Marsh of Sleep, and I tried to resbang 2015!

Aaaand I didn’t quite make it. If you thought I was dead, you were almost right– but if I hadn’t joined resbang as an author last year, there is no way this story would exist.

This fic is entirely the result of the amazing partners I’ve had through the event, and I could not have done it without them. Every single member of the #dreamteam has been fundamental to the completion of this story, no take-backs. Thank you for sticking with me past the deadline, guys. You’ve worked so hard and I am both proud and tremendously honored.

Obligatory yearly PSA

Hello Soul Eater fandom

I have felt urged to make a fresh post about How To Source, because when I go trawling through the tags to promote cool art and already have to wade through the violent pornography I frequently find a great piece either not sourced or, perhaps worse, sourced from We Heart It. I dunno, they’re both p bad.

I am also an artist. I have seen my work reposted without credit to me. I have also been the noob who has reblogged art without credit. I know this game, so harken to mine harrowing plea: please source your shiz properly or don’t post it at all.

Maybe you don’t know art sourcing etiquette. That’s ok. We aren’t condemning you, we just want you to get up to speed, pronto, before you inadvertently run an artist off the internet. (RIP katsura miya)

Maybe you do know art sourcing etiquette, but you’re lazy. That’s less ok. In the interest of not promoting excessive violence, I will stop this sentence here.

    Several of us appear to be in the top 10% of submissions, and that is amazing. Go fandom! Now that we are here, what we really need are your reviews! Votes give us the eyes from Inkitt, but reviews give them interest, so if you haven’t reviewed yet and would like to, today is the day to help us out!
