Attention Authors and Artists
The mods are offering the possibility for an author/artist group with a scheduled posting date AFTER Dec 14 to move FORWARD to post on Dec 14. Posting early can lead to more traffic on your fic/art, so if you think you and your partners can be ready earlier to make this posting date, we encourage you to take it! To be eligible for this opportunity, you must:
- Talk to your partner(s) and clear it with them FIRST
- Check your current posting date to make sure someone else is meant to post on that date already so there will not be another gap opened up
If this is something you’re interested in AND you meet these requirements, please get in touch with the mods as soon as possible!
The Resbang “How To Post” Post
Hello! Five months’ worth of work and hype are culminating today, on the first day of over a month of amazing new Soul Eater fandom content!
We wanted to create a reminder of how to post your work so you can get full credit, so to speak, and be added to the official masterlist of completed story-partnerships.
- Your story and art can be hosted anywhere public. You can just post it on Tumblr, on FFN, on AO3, in the appropriate subforum on GrigoriWings, on deviantART, or anywhere you’re comfortable.
- However, you must post a link to all of your work here on The Jackpot thread! This is regardless of where you host your stories and art. In your post, include: a) your GW username and the GW username of your partners, b) your story’s public summary and warnings, and c) links to every place you’ve posted your Resbang.
- Your work will not be considered complete until all of this information is posted.
- It’s fine if you want to post your links individually or just have one group member post for everyone.

Resbang 2015 summary masterlist
We’re heading into the last stretch of 2015’s Resonance Bang! Here for everyone’s browsing pleasure is a compilation of the amazing collaborations that you can expect to be seeing once December hits! We’ll also be queuing up these promos individually for the length of November – we hope you like and reblog and keep getting pumped for Resbang!
One of the things we encourage is to self-promote. All the cool kids are doing it. When you see your promo post, reblog the shiz outta that sucker. And don’t let public summaries be your only form of advertisement– make some hype for your resbang! You’ve probably already seen the gif memes and aesthetic posts. Get creative! (Just remember not to post any actual content from your project before your assigned date.)

Resbang Review Squad 2k15
Now that Resbangers have met their second check in, we’re going to start recruiting for this year’s Resbang Review Squad. Thank you to everyone who has filled out the survey to gauge interest, it’s really helped me figure out how the event should be tweaked for maximum participation and benefit.
What is Resbang Review Squad? RRS is a component to the Resbang event where fandom members agree to review 3 Resbang fics and accompanying artworks minimum by a deadline. The Squad’s goal is to involve more people in the event and to spread constructive feedback to our hardworking artists and writers.
Who can join? Anyone who loves Soul Eater and intends to devour the quality stories and art brought to you by Resbang. The squad is open to all, not just Resbang participants.
How do I join? You will provide the RRS mods with your info and content parameters via email when signups open. Right now, we anticipate signups occurring shortly after the masterlist of public Resbang summaries is released.
Which fics do I review? Squad members will have a minimum of 3 fics to review. One of those will be assigned, the other two will be the reviewer’s choice! The reason for this is because last year many fics got no squad reviews at all because they were posted at the end of Resbang. Other fics were ignored because their aus or ships were obscure. We want everyone to benefit from the event, and having reviewers commit to one specific fic will help us achieve that.
How will those fics be assigned? When you sign up for the squad, you will provide your preferences in terms of ships, content warnings, ratings, etc. This is to prevent any reviewers from getting assigned a fic that may trigger or squick them out. Other than your one assigned fic, you can review as many fics as you like for the squad, and the ones you review are entirely your choice.
Are there review guidelines? The only two stipulations are 1) reviews must contain constructive, thoughtful feedback and 2) betas and artists already participating in Resbang are encouraged to review fics they have not read, edited, or arted for. What happens when I review my minimum 3 fics and art? You are entered in a giveaway! The more fics you review, the more entries you get. Prizes for the giveaway last year were fics and a printed book. This year’s prizes will be announced soon!
