Me: Yeah, writing! Got most of the story planned, have some cool character development scenes happening, got enough words for check-in #1 and still writing, woot woot!
Me also: missing entire blocks of chapters, no flow, random dialogues I want but don’t know where to put, climax??? ending???

Why I haven’t found someone yet: When resbang started I was at my old apartment–but it took 2 hours to get home and by the time I got home and ate everyone was gone from the chat! Now I’m at a new place, closer to work, and I’m usually online by 6:00 Pacific time.

dude i tried SOoOoOO hard to keep If All Angels short and it still ended up like 50k. don’t sacrifice quality just for ‘easy reading’ like write what you feel you need to write, then go back later and shorten where you can. I BELIEVE IN YOUUUUUUUU ❤
i just want to worldbuild for the rest of my life it’s so hard to stOP WORLDBUILDING and move on with the plot URHG
i’m still in that honeymoon phase with myself, amazed that i have written enough words for the first check-in with like weeks to spare
now my biggest fear is pacing the story quickly enough that it’s not a 50k+ monster that no one will want to read when everything is released in December. how do write short story, i d o n’ t k n o w
