i know i’m supposed to post rules and make new questions and tag people but lol i’m not doing any it coz i have to walk a dog in the rain in 10 minutes

1. Red or purple? both, i guess. i mean they’re related so

2. Zuko/Katara or Aang/Katara? i haven’t watched atla so i have no opinion

3. What are your thoughts on Dragonball Z and how it relates to peoples’ rejection of anime? i also haven’t watched dbz so i have no opinion on this either

4. Why do you write fanfiction/draw fan art? i draw fanart when i have an itch to push some colors around. i write fic when i need an answer to a question i haven’t seen addressed elsewhere in a way that agrees with my personal headcanon

5. Do you think fan art/fanfiction will ever be well respected mediums? i think they are a lot more respected now than they were in the 80′s/90′s. especially in other countries. i hope this trend continues. 

6. Do you prefer to plan out your fanfiction/art, or do you just sit down and let whatever happens happen? i tend to have a single premise i want to explore, or an end result that i want to work towards, but other than that i am typically a pantser and plan only the barebones at best.

7. D’ya think Isayama’s going to kill off Levi? i don’t keep up with SnK, i just read raunchy AU pornfic of it, so i have no idea man sorry

8. What do you find most frustrating when searching for a good fanfic? mmm when fics give themselves an air of importance and deep insight but nothing is gained by or altered in the reader by reading it. tl;dr fanfic is a great gateway for young and/or novice authors to try writing stories, but it’s a lot of sifting when you’re looking for something more polished.

9. Who are your favorite fanartists and authors? nah i don’t wanna play that social game right now, it’s exhausting

10. What is absolutely unacceptable to you/what can’t you stand to see in fanfic/art?  KILLING OFF CHARACTERS FOR NO NARRATIVE BENEFIT don’t kill people just for shock/angst value, it’s lazy. i know people die for no reason irl but story telling emulates life by framing it in patterns that give everything meaning, if i wanted to read about people dying without any symbolism i’d turn on the news

2. Have you read anything interesting lately? 

not so much that what i read was interesting, but i found it interesting to note that despite how much i rail against low standards in writing, very little will stop me from reading the trashiest gay porn if i’m desperate enough

3. What’s your favorite artist or band?

“Radiohead,” she screamed from the tallest mountain in the face of absolutely no one’s surprise

4. What’s the favorite aspect of your favorite show and why? 

I don’t really have a favorite show, tbh. maybe person of interest, in which case Shaw being the hot muscle lady who is always eating. please marry me

5. Do you believe in coincidences? 

up to a point… but sometimes you see a pattern so often that it’s difficult to chalk it up to chance

6. What is the best representation of a villain you’ve read about or seen? 

i still really like Frollo from the animated hunchback of notre dame as a villain. whenever i think of a villain, i always picture him first. i guess it’s that whole warped by one’s devotion thing? (the book version is also quite a trip)

7. Any favorite comics or mangas? so there’s this one webcomic called The Fox Sister. i fall over myself every time i catch up on it because i love the art style. it’s very fluid. bonus: blood and guts!

8. Are you a dog or cat person and what’s your favorite breed?

i am a cat person, though that’s not to say that if there is a dog in front of me i’m not absolutely, immediately making stupid baby talk at it and scratching its butt. i am in love with every cat breed on the earth. i like most dogs, though i tend toward the big and tall woofs.

9. What class do you prefer to be in video games? 

i’m down with anything as long as there’s explosions. usually some kind of melee beating shit up. though i have fun sniping from the back row, too. 

10. Name the last three songs you’ve listened to.

11. How far would you go to bring back a loved one? 

from death? um, well if i felt it was necessary and believed the process morally sound, probably to the ends of time. which is dangerous because i would totally sacrifice a human life if i felt it was the right thing to do. ‘sac trump to bring my cat back? yeah i wouldn’t blink

Granted, her father’s most recent no-show for dinner right before her mission is still freshly picked and bleeding in the back of her mind, but whether or not her hatred for men willing to give chase like a greyhound to any rabbit with a nice pair of legs is clouding her judgement, she is not the type to placidly ignore a creep openly leering at her body.

She doesn’t look impressed. The woman who requested his services regards him with no small amount of disdain, and he doesn’t really blame her. He’s shorter than average, nearly as scrawny as a teenaged girl, and it’s probably obvious to anyone who looks that he’s merely a talented coward who needs cash.

Patterns: Ahhh 90% present tense, typically a straightforward, point-blank one- liner that is nondescript until i turn it into a joke later on in the story. or i just go crazy with commas. there is no in-between.

well uhhhh this got embarrassing really quick. this is from the next installment of the quantum entanglement (warcraft anime trash) fic (1, 2, 3) that STILL doesn’t have a name. NSFW under the cut???

Mind gradually, grudgingly, drifting instead to the impossible universe in which ReaperMan looks over her shoulder at him with sultry lashes (but he doesn’t know if she’s in makeup or wigs or oversized hoodies or Chun Li hair buns, rapidly switching among all these dizzying, incongruous versions of her because her eyes burn him in every one), sliding around in his lap as he watches his body disappearing into hers, some more of that liquid fire moonshine pouring in his ears and making him lose his cool.

He presses his lips together, sighing long and languid through the nose. Now he’s getting somewhere.

“You sound bored. What’s the plan, today?”

Soul freezes with a hand outstretched to his desk drawer where he keeps the lube, the horrific realization that he hadn’t turned off his mic settling over his skin with a cold sweat. Carefully pauses the vid, praying Reaper (or anyone else, for that matter) hadn’t heard anything else loud enough to trigger the microphone.
