Request #8:Lodestar, a cowboy fic by Marsh of Sleep! This one took me a while since I was unable to go to the store. Thankfully I waited because I found that cute hat! Maka got two looks for this photoshoot and Soul got the choice of having his shirt buttoned or unbuttoned. OOOH OOOH IDEA: LODESTAR that maka and soul go out in a thunderstorm, but not raining, just that hot and and intense air before the storm, where there is a low wind blowing and all that built up whatever builds like the clouds do in the sky on the plains.

Lodestar!Spirit’s cowboy personality (quiet conversations, kisses to the forehead, daughter nicknames, silent over-protectiveness, spoiling Maka with things the moment he thinks she wants something, and the habit of working oneself to exhaustion every day of the week) are all very, very heavily based off my father.

Thank you. That’s pretty helpful. On a side note, interesting idea with Lodestar and Crona’s role (though I sort of wonder how they’d react if they saw themselves depicted as a dog lol)

Crona the chihuahua is a majestic beast. Soul’s unintentional dog-whispering will annoy Maka because Crona will eventually ditch the main house life and chose to sleep in the guest house. It’s less noisy.

Without giving my resbang away, I will say Crona upgrades from trembling chihuahua to a more self-confident and loyal war hero in my story.
