you were right, that was a pretty hard one to find, lol. it was under #lodestar but that’s like 60 pages of posts, rip. i ended up finding it through text searching ‘lodestar scene’ on my blog via moblie of all things, because the structure of tumblr is a slog heap.
[also, damn. finding my older writing is like finding macaroni art from kindergarten, it’s cringey but nostalgic? mostly cringey tho. ENJOY.]
sadly, grooveshark died forever and ever ago, taking my playlist with it. i do have it on my hard drive and i plan to upload it in parts to 8tracks in the future… but i didn’t think anyone would have interest but me so it’s been on the backburner awhile

It had been obvious as soon as Maka walked over to put a hand on his shoulder – as soon as her side of the link flared into life and steadied his heart rate, smoothed over his seething thoughts, forced him into stillness – that she wanted Soul calm. In fairness, he understood: her brothers weren’t exactly won over, and they’d present a real problem if they decided he was a threat. Maka not wanting to have to defuse a situation where the people she cared most for in the world were trying to kill the person currently responsible for keeping her alive went without saying.
